It's a New Day Dawning! WAKE UP!

Something rather extraordinary has happened over the last few days. I feel as if I have woken up from a time of sleep walking through life and that my "bright core self" is back. My energy, my hope, my motivation, my loves and delights have been restored to me! I feel set free, and that life is precious, and fragile and short and unbelievably bright! I say this, amidst what appears to most people to be an ever darkening time. There is a spirit of fear and division and confusion and somnolence that have confused and befuddled and silenced and bound us and we have been like the hypnotized, who in a daze believe what we are told, and forget that the thoughts inside our heads were planted by another, who wishes to control and destroy us and our unique purpose. It is time that we all "WAKE UP!" I want to shout it from the rooftops! Shake people and say, "You are being deceived!"







Our core, our spirit,  is a gift from the Father, created with delights, with joy, with unique and quirky likes and dislikes that He chose for us! We each have special gifts and jobs to do, that contribute to the music of our age, that is being played out by every act we take, every word we whisper, or think and every emotion we shoot heaven or earthward...in the silence or clatter of our mind. It is part of this unending symphony being played by thousands of millions of instruments and bodies and personalities over time and beyond time and the conductor is our Father in Heaven. The Holy Spirit whispers inspiration, or opens our eyes to see, and our ears to hear...and our hearts to sing, along with the cadence of Heaven! Our brother, the first born of all creation, Jesus, stands by our side and lends His clear perfect tone, which re-tunes our mistakes, turns our flats into perfect pitches, and lifts our flagging, dark notes from the garbage heap of disuse, making some purpose out of the tragedies of our lives, wiping clean our instruments, recreating our spirits and giving them back the beauty that sin and the specter of death have sought to steal from us. We are coaxed back into singing a new song, ever changing and healing, and meandering or surging along, at the pace and the tempo given our lives and loves to play.





So "WAKE UP"! Remember your first love! Live with joy, when all around are rumors and reports of destruction and disaster! Look up! Live with hope, do NOT believe that all is lost! Oh, my, "NO!" The Father has wonderful plans for us, in this world and in the next! He really really does! We are not to be crawling along the ground like worms, but standing and dancing and singing like children, who can not contain their excitement and exuberance! It is time to live as He intends, to love as He intends, and to be the small bit of leaven that brings the fragrance of  heaven, the rich growth of the kingdom, to the whole batch of flour, because, the Mighty One is doing a new thing!
